Oita Ranked Number One in Kyushu by Tourists Posted On 30-08-2019

On July 29, Recruit Lifestyle Co., Ltd. announced the results of a survey on overnight tourism in Japan. Amongst the seven prefectures in Kyushu, Oita ranked first in “overall level of satisfaction.” Its many tourist attractions for young people as well as the hospitality of the locals were praised by the respondents. The prefectures of Nagasaki and Kumamoto were also listed within the top 10. Meanwhile, travel consumption in Kyushu turned out to be much lower than the national average.
